Raffia sourced from Madagascar, dried in shade and hand-woven over six to nine days. Pebbled leather is vegetable-tanned, full-grain Italian hide that softens and deepens with carry. The emblem is sand-cast brass, hand-polished, and debossed by hand.
Store in the dust bag, away from direct sun. Spot-clean raffia with a soft dry brush; condition leather twice a year with a neutral balm. Every JLore bag is covered by a two-year warranty — defects in material, hardware, or stitching, we make it right.

The Sahel Hobo begins on a loom in Antananarivo and finishes in our Cairo atelier — one weaver, one cutter, one stitcher per bag. Between six and nine days of work go into a single body before the leather is ever cut.
It is signed, not stamped: the maker's initials sit beside the edition number on the inner flap.
